Dear Parents/Guardians:
We are offering students at local area middle schools and high schools the opportunity to participate in an outstanding six-
day/five-night tour of Washington D.C., along with a special excursion to Philadelphia and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, from
June 17-23, 2024. The tour will depart the morning of June17th and return the morning of June 23th. Your child will have the
unique opportunity to experience the nation’s capital, a virtual “living classroom,” with fellow classmates and teachers. They
will experience government in action and visit some of the most historic treasures of our country. A list of sites and special
features of this tour is presented on the next page. The tour has been prepared for us by Hoosier Travel, a fully insured travel
agency specializing in student group travel to Washington D.C., with over 22 years of experience.
The base price of the tour (based on 50 paid participants) is $1,500.00. Students will be housed in QUAD OCCUPANCY and
adults in DOUBLE OCCUPANCY. The trip cost for paying adults is $1,700.00 if two paying adults participate. Please read the
